As the first and only UX designer at Alliant, I was brought in to establish design foundations and lead user-centered transformation across both client and internal platforms. My work spanned industries such as finance, wealth management, education, and compliance—delivering design systems, AI-integrated workflows, and tools that elevated usability, efficiency, and stakeholder confidence.

01. Establishing the UX Foundation
Problem:
Alliant had no formal UX practice—no brand system, design process, or UI consistency across tools and websites.
What I Did:
Created the full brand identity and design system for Alliant Digital from scratch.
Defined reusable components, type scales, accessibility standards, and interaction models in Figma.
Developed handoff-ready assets for both marketing websites and complex internal tools.
Outcome:
Unified UI across platforms
Accelerated development with scalable design tokens
Created a design-first culture within product and dev teams


02. Agentic AI – The Advantage Platform
Problem:
Business users had fragmented access to internal tools and needed a smarter way to interact with systems.
What I Did:
Co-led the concept and design of Advantage, an agentic AI platform
Structured the system as a chat-first interface backed by intelligent agents (Finance, R&D, Support, etc.)
Built visual hierarchy of agents → subprocesses → tools
Worked cross-functionally to ensure workflows mapped real business tasks
Outcome:
Unified fragmented tools into a single conversational platform
Boosted task completion speed and system adoption
Recognized internally as a flagship innovation initiative


03.Dashboard projects (CM Wealth management / Genske Accounting for Agricultural Clients)
Problem:
High-net-worth investors lacked a clear, user-friendly way to view and manage complex portfolios.
Genske, a CPA firm specializing in agriculture, needed a way to help dairy farm clients make better financial decisions—but the existing reports were static, hard to interpret, and lacked real-time insights.
What I Did:
Designed a responsive dashboard for viewing accounts, asset allocations, projections, and transfers
Integrated interactive charts and account switchers
Enabled multi-account transfers and visual tracking of cash flows
Designed a real-time financial analytics dashboard tailored for farm-based clients.
Structured clear data visualizations for income vs. net loss, feed costs, herd expenses, and dairy stats.
Created filters and comparison toggles to support deeper analysis for CPAs during client consultations.
Ensured complex financial data was accessible even to non-technical end users (e.g., farmers, stakeholders).
Outcome:
Improved user confidence in managing portfolios
Increased self-service use among investors
Reduced reliance on wealth advisors for routine tasks
Improved client understanding of financial health and trends
Reduced reliance on manual Excel-based reporting
Elevated Genske’s service value by providing interactive, data-driven insight

Finance AR Automation Tool: Designed an invoice processing dashboard for finance teams to automate uploads, flag errors, and visualize payment statuses
